Laid it over

Laid it over
I mean, I've never done this with any other bike.
Somehow I think my mind wasn't on my game.
Just kinda rolled up to a red light off the interstate.
Put the leg out, it leaned....then got really heavy, then instead of trying to upright it, I just let it on over.
Damn.
No damage (I think).
What does it land on (Road king classic) when it's laid over (so I can double check).
Damn.

An old buddy of mine is a HD mech and when I called him to tell him I bought an Ultra the first thing he said was there is a point that I would find where it just is imposible to hold the bike up. He said everything feels fine and all of the sudden you are trying to remember all the stuff to do to get it back up. Sure enough about a week later I was moving the bike in the garage and trying to put it on the easy up CS while on the bike and over it went. I was wearing flip flops at the time and probably won't do that again. I was surprised how stable it was on it's side and how it only went over to about 35 degrees. I was also surprised that my first attempt to get it back up went without success (I am 6'1 and 220). I took a few minutes to think about the video I watched on this forum and picked it right up. I did forget to put it in gear and that made it a little harder right at the top as it tried to roll backwords. I also had the door on the garage closed so I there was no adrenalin factor you get when you are in public. No damage that I could see anywhere. Mostly due to my floor being smooth concrete. It folded up the floorboard and sat on the front crash bar and the saddle bag gaurd. Don't really wan't to go there again but at least I know what to expect if I do. Proper foot and *** placement is a must.
