Yeah Tripper, Caught that I should have referenced my post to the thread originator.[&:]

It's gonna take a week of weather improvement here, before I can do as you and get lost again running an errand[&o]

p.s. Flagstaff quite a place (though getting a little crowded)... some would be surprised at it's altitude (the gradual rise) and the ski area it has!

What the foo is there to be mad about... jeez!!

A very complex machine that is IMO the best design they've yet made, that has been seriously screwed over by EPA Dorkhead rules, and now the MoCo gives me a free fix that is getting great reviews. Thank you MoCo for taking care of me!

Not complaing about the upgrade which is just great; I was complaining about the horrible, nasty ride from Prescott, over Mingus Mt, through Jerome, down to Page Springs, through Sedona into Oak Creek Canyon, and up to Flagstaff. Can you say Facetious?

Nice to hear from the EX classroom monitor.

Please take my name off of your list and don't tell the teacher. I promise to do better next time.

Don't mean to be picky.....but use spell check before you post a poll...it's less embarrassing.

i was a bit pissed that the salesman didnt drop any hint of a 96/6 coming within a few weeks.... but that pissing quickly subsided when the transmission noises were talked about.

Did not see a choice that fit my opinion.

I am absolutely beside myself with joy that I kept my '06 and did not get an '07. Of course, the '06 models had issues too, but nothing really serious. More than happy with what I have. Sometimes technology is not a great thing, especially when it is NEW technology and UNTESTED technology. Thank you, but I'll just stick with what works....

I feel the same way that the guys riding flatheads felt when the knuckleheads arrived and how the knucklehead riders felt when the panheads arrived and how the panhead riders felt when the shovels appeared and how the guys riding shovels felt when the evos came out and how the evo riders felt when the twin cams showed up................

What is there to be mad about? If I had bought a new bike last year I would be perectly happy with it unless it was big pile of oil leaking crap like Wnogoods Roadglide was. Seriously, I love my bike but I would be happy with a TC88 too. I was in the market for a used '06 when I decided to go ahead and buy new. New for me means the newest that I can get and that means '07 right now. I ride a 2005 Road King EVERYDAY and I can tell a difference between my Streetglide and the 'King. I like the Streetglide more because of the transmission. I am not knocking the older TC's but I feel that Harley made a very wise decision to go with the 6 speed. That said, I haven't had any trouble with any part of my bike so I am a very happy customer.

When I heard about the 96s, for about a half of a second, I wished I'd waited for a 2007. Then I realized I would have missed too much great riding if I'd have waited to buy an '07 instead of buying an '06.

I can buy a 96 inch six speed later if I need to. I doubt I'll be too unhappy with the bike I've got, though. Maybe in another 100,000 miles.

How could I not be happy with something that improves the ridability of my bike and doesn't cost me extra?
