Default What Stock Seat?

What seat came stock on a 2007 FLHTC? Is the stock seat one of the seats currently in the Harley catalog, or is it some other seat?

Thanks

Some other seat. Most OEM seats are not considered accessories. To get one, you usually have to grab it from someone who just bouight his new bike and is now doing the proverbial 'make it my own' jig.

Thanks. I've tried to search this and get all kinds of results for replacing the stock seat, without actually defining which seat is actually stock. I'm not interested in getting another stock seat, which is why I wanted to be sure that all of the seats listed in the catalog are something different than stock. I'm also familiar with the other aftermarket brands.

I put a Sundowner on my FXDL and it really improved the long range comfort. I'm trying to decide what I want to do with my FLHTC seat.

i run the stock seat for trips under 300 miles. Over 300 miles, use a harley zeppelin air seat. Mustang makes a good seat as well. Really good support, without being a rock like Corbin

I know what you mean about Corbin. I put one on my FXDL before the Sundowner and the Corbin was like riding on a board!

I've read a lot of good things about the Mustang seats. My problem is that I don't need to move forward - back, or up - down. I'm just interested in a more comfortable seat for long rides. Being 6'2", I sure don't need to be lowered and if I go much higher I'll be looking a mile over the windshield. No need to solve one comfort problem by creating a buffeting comfort issue.
