Default new road king owner brake light question

Ok, so I just bought an 04 Road King. I have noticed that it is different than my Sporty in that when I hit the brake the brake light and turn signals blink 3 times. Is this standard on this bike or did someone add that feature?

Also, the turn signals have red lenses and I am not a fan of that look. I would like to have the standard yellow turn signals with smoke lenses. Clearly I can't do this if they have to blink as then it would look odd with yellow flashing lights when I hit the brake.

Is there anyway to turn this feature off?

Thanks for the help,

It is a module plugged into the rear tailight harness under your seat. Just unplug it then reconnect the left and right rear signal harness and you are good to go.

From a safety stand point the red is better.
Having the t/sigs on as running lights is best. I don't know about the flashing. When I added the Kuryakin module to mine it had that extra flasher. I didn't use it. But having them come on as brake lights is a great safety feature. People don't even see the amber lights. And those smoke lenses are even worse. They're barely visible.
