Best Slip ons for the Buck
#42
I was in a hurry to get more sound and bought some Samsons slip ons off the bargain table $150. Wasn't happy with the sound, to metallic. Got a set of Rinehart slip ons from a friend $300, better, but not deep enough sound. Finally got the 4" V&H Classic turndowns $379, audio nervana, awesome sound! I just wish I got the V&H fron the start, thank God for e-bay.

My Wild Pig pipes arrived today. Pretty darn good. Ordered late on Tuesday, delivered early on Friday. They were packaged excellently, and look good.
I've got a shoulder that I banged up a couple of months ago, and need to wait until my Brother can stop by this evening and help me pull off the current mufflers. Last thing I need right now is to delay my shoulder healing process.

Well, Bro couldn't make it by the other night, so I installed them myself this afternoon.
I'm pretty well pleased with the Wild Pig pipes. I would like them just a bit louder, but my wife says they sound great when I ride away from the house and then when I return.
I went with the 2" baffles. I'm going to keep things the way they are for now. Sometime in the next 6 months or so, I plan to get a more free flowing air cleaner, and a tuner. At that point, I will probably give a larger baffle a try.
But, I would recommend these pipes, and this company.
