Ditto on the cyclesmiths! I have them on both bikes. Im 6' and had the same shoulder burn you mentioned. Mr Browns theory on adjusting the stock bars didnt work for me! No matter how you adjust stock bars your still reaching down to them=burn.
I got PrimeApes too and have been completely satisfied, my father in law has some cycle smiths, and they ride pretty nice too. At this point, there are so many good choices for bars its crazy!
5' 10" and I got the 11" Santee Bagger Apes. I couldn't bring myself to spend $300 on a set of bars (I'm on a budget). Got these from J&P Cycles for just about $100, they're 1 1/4" thick, are swedged down to 1" and come with pull wires installed for internal wiring. Finish on them is great (I went with the flat black). The PYO monkey bars look AWESOME though, I wish someone made that style for cheaper
Wow, a lot to choose from. I checked out Yaffe's set up and it's $260 for the cables plus whatever bars I would go with. My local dealer has 20% right now and I could get Harley bars and the cables for $415. I'll have to shop hard and make up my mind soon. Thanks for everybodys help.

I've done 10" Yaffe's on a 2007 and 2011 Street glide without buying new cables or brake lines. Both fit fine with a little creative rerouting.

We're they the money bars or standard bars. I'm also a little confused, I called them today for a price on some 10" bars and they said I would need cables. Think they are just trying to sell me some cables?
