Wheels are a little pitted on the old 03 Roadglide. Thinking of picking up some newer stock wheels off Ebay or something. Anyone know if wheels from the 08 touring bikes will fit my 03? Seems like all the glides should fit.

Can't help with the wheel interchange question , but the pitted stockers can be fixed.
I let my stock wheels get a little nasty on my 06 EG Standard and figured I'd try to clean them up myself.
Of course , I didn't know about the power ball buffers at the time....
Working slowly with 0 steel wool then up to 0000 steel wool , I got the pitts pretty well gone.
Then with Mothers Chrome and Billet polish , finished them up to an incredible shine.
Covered them with Carnuba wax when I was done for protection.
When I traded the bike in for my present ride , the salesman asked "how did you do that"?
It really looked sharp for about 7 or 8 hours labor (by hand).
If I were to do it again , I would have the tires removed and do it with power tools.......
It was a pain , but worth it in the end.

I had a simlar question recently and found it very difficut to get answers. After a lot of research, I put a set of wheels tha came off an '04 Ultra with 1" axles onto a 2000 RKC with a 3/4" rear axle. Just had to get the right size bearings and sleeve/bearing spacer for the wheel/axle combination and no problems.

From what I've seen, from the years you are talking about the wheels are the same size (16" x 3") and the hub is the same width, but from here there's a bit more to think about.

Front wheel
'00 - '07 All touring models ran 1" front axle
'08 later All touring models run 25mm front axles, but different wheel install kits for those with ABS and those without. This may cause you problems.

Rear wheel
'02 - '07 All touring modles ran 1" rear axle
'08 later is the same deal as for the front - all 25mm axle but different install kits for those with ABS and those without.

I think if you know the wheels came from a non-ABS bike then you should be able to buy a bearing kit to suit. Tip is you don't need to buy the whole wheel install kit, because ther will be lots of bits you will throw away. You just need the bearings and the sleeve/bearing spacer.

Good luck!

Klinger is right. No matter what axle you have you can change the bearings out to fit your axle. ABS or non-ABS wheels will fit. They are the same only the bearing is different. I am pretty sure you can actually run the abs bearing on a non abs bike. The only difference I know of is the magnetic pick up in the abs bearing. The abs bearing is only on one side for each wheel. Front left and rear right. Like he said you will need to get the correct bearing size for your axle and whatever spacers you need. I think it sounds bad because a lot of people get intimidated by all the change this change that posts that come about. But it's probably one of the easiest things to do once you get all the right pieces. Good luck.

Also I have a set of the wire spokes off my 08 SG if your interested. Tires still have some miles on them too.

Also agree with Veteran75s comment that it is one of the easist things to do once you get the right pieces. The trick is to get the right pieces. A little research and go see your dealer (their parts information does not only give part numbers but bearing sizes).
Again, good luck.
