I know it's a little late to ask, but $23.5k including all fees and taxes for a 2012 white RKC with the aluminum wheels, Reach seat, 4-point hardware and passenger backrest, extended factory (not third-party) warranty, and CA emissions is reasonable, right?

well, I went back and re-worked the deal a bit...now I'm getting everything above minus the extended warranty plus 1" lower air shocks in the back and 1" lower Progressive monotubes in the front. Pictures in about a week and a half when I get the bike with all the goodies installed.

Congrats! Think about instead of the reach seat, send the stock seat off to Mean City Cycles for $100 they will lower it as much as you want and put memory foam in it. For another $100 they will add a seat heater. You'll be out less money and have a much better seat. The other thing is if you do a cam upgrade within 60 days they will cover it under the warranty. I've put another $4K in my limited in the first month I've owned it but now it is NICE!

I actually AM planning to send my stock seat to Mean City. I ended up switching the Reach seat for a Badlander as a temporary while I send the stock seat out to get modded. Then, if I like it, I'm going to sell the Badlander.

I'm also planning to do the cam upgrade eventually, but I have to stop spending money for a while. You can't just upgrade cams, you have to do the exhaust, A/C and tuner as well. Besides, when I asked if they'd cover a cam upgrade they wouldn't give me a straight answer...and they'd only install an EPA-approved one and I'd still have to pass SMOG or not only would they not cover it, but they wouldn't even do the work because in Commiefornia, the green police can come after the dealer for doing so.

The SE255 cam is CA EPA compliant. You're right about the tuning, they will only do an EPA complaint map so you need to have that done elsewhere afterwards or buy a tuner. That's what I did. Getting it today. You can always get the pipes later. They're only $370 shipped for Jackpots. Cam makes a world of difference though, bike is really fun now. There is no smog on bikes.
