Default Fork cartridge suggestions

I'm saving my quarters for doing the front end on my Road Glide - black uppers and lowers, Yaffe Yaxle... was thinking this would be the best time to upgrade the internal components as well.

If you've upgraded to a cartridge, what did you use and why?
Just soliciting input, not wanting to start a pissing contest...

I have Progressive monotubes.

I needed to have the front end torn apart anyways, so I figured why not upgrade.

Very worth the cost over springs. The front feels different in the way it handles slow speed small bumps, but at speed or highway it's a dream.

You may just want to try a 50/50 mix of 10w and 15w oil. I was really shocked when I added a heavier weight shock oil to the rear and I was a huge improvement. I was thinking about changing my front suspension as well but I will try the fluid upgrade first. Just tired of getting ripped off for parts that aren't much better than stock, with a few modifications.

Progressive, because the price was right, they work well with my 440 shocks, and because my HD guru suggested them.

2 years later zero regrets
