Check the iron cross website or onthemovetechnology , those wires are the power and ground. They tie into the ones one the back of your stereo, I'm just not sure which ones.

On page five of my instructions, which are for the original version of the On The Move HDPDPLUS, show the connections you need to make: you should have two red (18-22 ga) T-Taps in the kit. You need to connect them to the wires that are in the 23 pin connector at locations 19 and 20- they are the two middle pins in the bottom row of the connector when looking at the rear- you'll see the number "16" embossed on the far left and "23" on the far right of the connector block. Count over from 16 to find 19 and 20.

Once you connect the two T-Taps, you need to connect the BLACK wire to the tap you attached to Wire 19, and the RED wire goes to the tap attached to Wire 20.

If you don't have those T-Taps, you can find them anywhere you can get electrical connectors; look for these parts.

For people that mounted it under the radio, how'd you do it? I couldn't come up with enough room to slip it in there. Did you take the radio out before putting it in? For now, I have mine sitting on top of my arc amp. But I'm worried it will cook the unit over time.

Anyone know if they make an updated cable for this unit to accommodate the new ipod connector?

The same device is available through Iron Cross Audio for $250. They also have some nice documentation avail for more info. Been looking at this myself but I'm thinking of upgrading to iPhone5 soon and am thinking I will wait until they offer the new lightning connector first. Still, it looks like a great product and for sure much cheaper than the HD interface.

I just received and installed mine last week. The cable that comes with the unit is the older (iPhone 4) cable. There have been other threads around here that state the iPhone 5 will work with the apple 30 pin adaptor.
