2011 FLTHK Ultra Limited Trunk Light & turn signal keeps burning out
I have a 2011 Ultra Limited the day I rode it home from the Dealer my friend says hey your trunk light is out...then I noticed my running light was out on the right front.
Replaced 4 times.
Anyone else having problems with lights going out on their tour pack and right front turn signal ?

find another tech- lights blowing like that---first thing to check is the ground.
it is more than likely that the ground is intermmitent
walk in and ask if they cannot fix a light bulb, how can you ever rely on them to keep the electronic controls working.
and "can you deal with it?"-- I assume you want your lights working so some douche doesn't run you over
btw welcome to the forums.

Can anyone tell me the difference between a 198 and 1157 ?
I went thru a couple tour pack brake/turn signal bulbs and one front turn signal in 12,000 on my 11 Limited. I chalked it up to glowing hot filament and rough roads. I went into a very large dealer out of state and the young parts guy took 1/2 hour to try and find me a tour pack bulb. I eventulay had to go out and remove a bulb and give it to him so he could find me one. He gave me a 1157. Good thing I didn't need something important like brake parts.
