I threw mine in the trash.

I found them unsafe as far as low speed maneuvers were concerned.

to each their own

enjoy

I changed my 05 RK Custom back to beach bars after i redid the bike to reflect my taste.
It had heritage bars when i bought it as you can see in the last photo.
when the bars are to low the handling was bad i raised them up slightly and love the feel and handling now, i would not go back to the heritage, and everyone says they are the best bars for a RK.

Your bike looks great. My decision is to go for the beach bar for sure. Just need to do some testing to find the right one. Whats that silver thing in front of your bar? And how did you do the rising?

All the best

The deflector is a CVO part according to my local dealer. I want one for my 2011 but its from an earlier bike like an 05 or so if I recall correctly. I like it.

yes for sure.. the superlong exhaust looks really great. I love the fishtails. We can not have this legally in germany.

The exhaust of my bike has a legal sound control. Its stock quite between 50km/h and 80km/h. All othe ranges are loud.

Idle also ist noisy

All the best

The wind deflector above the headlight is a factory option and is part of the Road King Custom package which was produced from (around) 2004-2007. The RK Custom was a Street Glide converted with out fairing and hard bags. Factory supplied with windshield, hard leather covered bags, Beech bars and the nacelle spoiler and chrome trimmed wheels.

I must correct you....
the RK Custom was the precursor to the Street Glide. the prototype so to say, the first RK Custom was 04 the SG came out in 06, all your other info is correct.
Sorry for sounding like a dick, but I'm a RK Custom owner.....and I stayed in a Holiday Express last night

I stand corrected. I bought a used 2005 Custom in 2008. Didn't really track which came first. I realized the parallels between the two after riding my Custom for a couple years. Mine was Smokey Gold Solid.
