Default Road Glide Exhaust Heat "Ouch"

Hey guys,I'm new to the forum and recently purchased a Road Glide Custom and wanted to know what ideas can cool down the exhaust heat? I've heard about the ceremic coated but I've already added V&H 2into1 High Output pipes.Flip

How about a tuner to cool down the engine now?

Yep,a good tune should. Keep in mind 2into1's usually run hotter even with a quality tune. They will never be as cool as a true dual set up.

Yeah I had it tuned at the Harley Dealer with Andrews cams, and big breather screaming eagle air kit. I guess I never realized Harleys pumped out that much heat.Flip

Are you using the optional heat shields as the Pro Pipe HO does not include them.

The 96s are running 260-280 (oil temp) on stock (with cats) with no oil coolers. I'm not sure about the 103s?

This winter we are getting True Duals installed with new slip-ons. That will get rid of the Catalytic Converter and all the heat it produces.
