I just rented a heritage in /Chicago for 130 a day over the weekend and the 2K damage deposit. Same at Eaglerider is $149 a day plus deposit and insurance. I'm between bikes so those 560 miles felt pretty good. rental at the dealer and is a few bucks less during the week.

Going to Maui first of November. Just called Maui HD and reserved a 2012 Ultra Classic for 24 hours, 139.00 and 2K deposit.

If your a member of HOG you can do the fly&ride program. Just call their 1 800 number they rent all over the country for a $100.00 a day and this includes the insurance

sounds about right for a weekend day. It's usually cheaper during the week and there's usually some kind of 3-day midweek deal that's even cheaper than that. There's also a weekly rate. I believe the rates are pretty much the same everywhere because you can book a rental right through the HD web site and they have prices listed there. I checked the 3 dealers in the area and their prices are identical...in fact a lot of content and information on local HD sites is linked directly back to the Mothership.

I've also heard that if you end up buying a bike after the rental they will credit the money you spent on the rental - don't know if that includes insurance, tax and all that.

I paid little over $800 for a week in Muai in 2007 for a street glide, I'll do it again in a heart beat it beats driving the rental cage.

I believe there is an independent motorcycle rental place in Panama City Beach that has HD. Can't help you with the name or rates but bet that goggle guy can. PCB and Destin about an hour apart. Closest HD dealers in FWB FL and Dothan AL.

I talked to a guy in Las Vegas a couple of years ago that had just rented one and I think he told me $150 a day.

A group of 4 couple is flying to Vegas next year and renting bikes to do the Bryce Canyon/Monument Valley/Grand Canyon loop.

Here's one place that I've checked in LV.

http://www.escapeeagles.com/links.html

The following is copied from the website above.

Escape Eagles always has excellent all inclusive rates: you can enjoy riding even more!

Never forget to ask for group rates or discounts: locals, firefighters, military, police (ID required, locals only with NV drivers license)

Single day rates:
6 hours (only Mon - THU) $118 all inclusive
8 hours (9am to 5pm) $140 all inclusive
24 hours $177 all inclusive
Twilight (5:30pm to 8:30am) $110 all inclusive

Multiple day rates:
3 days $164 per day all inclusive
4 days $152 per day all inclusive
5 days $140 per day all inclusive
6 days $130 per day all inclusive
7 + days $124 per day all inclusive

3 day rates are from the first day morning to the last day evening, additional overnight on last day is $37.

All rates are pick up and drop off in Las Vegas. We have one way rentals, ask for a one way quote to your destination.
I posesses a valid Motorcycle license/endorsment; I affirm that I am at least 21 years old; I understand a $50.- per day deposit is requested to hold my reservation.

Renting in Maui is about $40 cheaper than Honolulu or Kauai. Different owners, but still that is ridiculous and the reason why only rent in Maui.

I rented a Rocker C in Waikiki last July. $2000 deposit and about $200 after all the fees for 24 hours. Absolutely, worth every penny in a place like HI.
