that is an option... although, I don't think I would do that... I like my mods to look factory.. not "added on"..

Well finished for now. I wish i could have centered them but there is just not enough room, i will probably add some led running lights to the housings later on to fill up the empty space. The first pic is of the mounting plate i cut out. Took pictures with and without flash, none of the pics with the lights on came out. I will try for some beam pattern shots to show the difference between high and low beam sometime soon and maybe some side by side comparison shots with some bikes from work. The 50w bulbs and ballasts are really bright, a big improvement over stock.
Also anyone thinking of attempting this, the morimoto kit is really nice but still a large projector, the smaller kit recomended earlier by Deuce Bigelow looks like it would be way way easier to install but i just dont know what the quality is like.

Is that a housing you made or a cut up stock unit?

Yea i cut up the stock lens and attatched a flat peice of impact resistant polycarbonate from tap plastics, then i bullnosed and polished the edges. i used the stock screws to mount them to the adjuster plate that i mounted the projectors in. i would have used the older lenses but i could only come up with 1, they are pretty rare nowadays. the only problem with the old lenses is that they are thinner and are not designed to be used without that large exterior lens that came on '09 and earlier bikes. but if i had a set i would have run them anyway.
