Default Help with Stereo/amp issue

I recently installed an arc mini two channel amp. Was running great for a while. Now if I turn the ignition switch on it plays fine...but as soon as I fire up the bike I lose sound. Everything else is fine i.e. stereo display, song that's playing etc... I just have no sound.
I have tried turning off the stereo and then firing up the bike, then once the bike is running turning the stereo on...but still no sound.
anyone else have this problem?

Pull the front fairing and try to start it. If it doesn't come on, look at the amp and see if it has a flashing green light. If it does, that would mean it is entered a protection mode. Also, try just hooking up your speakers back to the radio without the amp see what happens.

It's most likely related in some way the the amp. You are going to have to remove that faring and do a little trouble shooting. As suggested, remove the amp from the circuit and see if things go back to normal. If it does, then the issue is with the amp. So at least you can find the culprit this way then attack it directly.

I pulled the fairing and all looks good. The light flashes green initially and then goes solid. Still no sound, although it does seem to work intermittently.

Then you have a wiring issue. Try pluggin speakers straight to the radio. Otherwise you migh have a break in the input ground or something like that. Let us know if you find the problem.
