Default Lyndall gold brake pads

Anyone have experience with these? I do alot of two up riding on my road King and was thinking of upgrading to them. Do they work well with the stock rotors?

I have the gold on the front and z on the rear. They work great and the little bit of dust they put off will not harm your wheels like the stock pads.

I've had them on two other bikes, Never a fading or wear problem with them also very low dust. No squealing or rotor damage..... They worked excellent when I rode different mountain ranges. I will buy them again !

Put the z plus on the front and it made a big improvement. Call Lyndall and they will get you the right pads for your particular needs.

I must be the oddball here. Put 20,000 miles on the stock pads on my 2009 Street Glide. Most of those miles were riding two up. I only replaced the entire set (front and rear) because the inside pad on the rear was just about shot. My fronts still look great.

So....at the advice of so many other happy Lyndall customers here on the forums, I replaced all 6 with the Z-Plus pads. Instantly noticed that they don't have the positive feel that my stockers had. And about a 1000 miles into this set, they started squeaking terribly when backing the bike out of the garage, down an incline or from a parking spot. They don't seem as bad while riding, but whenever I'm rolling the bike backwards and hit the front brakes, they squeal.

No matter what anyone else tells me, at 20,000 miles, the stock pads were far superior in both noise and stopping power. Time will tell if the Lyndalls last as long, but I don't think they will. Then again, I might not give them a chance, and just put my 20,000 mile stock fronts back on the bike, as they still look new.
