Lyndall gold brake pads

I must be the oddball here. Put 20,000 miles on the stock pads on my 2009 Street Glide. Most of those miles were riding two up. I only replaced the entire set (front and rear) because the inside pad on the rear was just about shot. My fronts still look great.
So....at the advice of so many other happy Lyndall customers here on the forums, I replaced all 6 with the Z-Plus pads. Instantly noticed that they don't have the positive feel that my stockers had. And about a 1000 miles into this set, they started squeaking terribly when backing the bike out of the garage, down an incline or from a parking spot. They don't seem as bad while riding, but whenever I'm rolling the bike backwards and hit the front brakes, they squeal.
No matter what anyone else tells me, at 20,000 miles, the stock pads were far superior in both noise and stopping power. Time will tell if the Lyndalls last as long, but I don't think they will. Then again, I might not give them a chance, and just put my 20,000 mile stock fronts back on the bike, as they still look new.

I swapped my stock pads when I swapped wheels and rotors somewhere between 18-19,000. Went to Lyndall Gold. The stock front pads still had a little bit on them and the rears were in great shape. Honestly, I don't notice much difference from the stock Brembos in dust or stopping power.Tthey have worn well. I just went over 33,000 and they are in good shape. There is an unsual buzzing sound when I apply the brakes but I attributed that to the holes in the custom rotors. I don't have any squeeks but I did break them in. They work well, I just cant say their better than stock.

I installed Lyndall Gold on my last bike , they stopped great and did not wear bad either , they dusted less than stock but not as good as I would have liked , I paid about $50 per set or $150 for the bike , I recently installed Hawk pads on my new bike to try them , they stop well and dust less than the Lyndall Golds , I have not been caught in the rain yet so I do not know how well they work in the rain , they cost $27.20 per set X 3 = $81.60 + $9.95 shipping = $91.55 for the bike
