Default need advice for cam and stroker upgrades

I have 2005 road king

SE 95" 3 7/8 big bore kit
SE203 cams
SE high flow cam tensioner and oil pump kit
v&h indy outlaw racing mufflers
SE heavy breather

getting a 4 3/8 stroker to get 103"s

Im thinking of going with SE 251 cams and changing my compression and possibly head work or htcc heads.

I need advice on some good parts for this build.

Any advice on cams, heads, compression etc... will help

Thank you

If you plan on finding an indy to do your heads, talk to him about the whole package. My advice is take his advice!

JMHO but there are better cam choices than the 251; however, it that is the cam you have chosen, you need to build around the cam. The HTCC heads will need some work to be compatible so why not work your heads and save some money? Find a qualified head porter and tell him your plans, 103" motor built around SE251 cams; the porter will know what to do with the heads and where to set compression to work with those cams.

Point is, choose a cam first, then build around the cam.

Two suggestions, consider going to 3.932' bore for 107" motor and have crank trued, balanced and welded before install; at least trued and welded.
