Cut the hoop off and used a couple of $1.00 plugs from the local hardware store.

Here is Baggernation Yaffes wedgy lights. they are LED but do not require a load resistor. probably why they cost $500 for a set.

My taillights/turnsignals are 39 ford reproductions from speedway motors catalog. LED and about $40.00 ea.Kept the stock taillight for xtra safety
