I TOO WENT FROM A ULTRA CLASSIC TO A RODE GLIDE ULTRA....THE RG IS FAR SUPERIOR IN THE HANDLING DEPT...jmho.......cigarette lighter hitting the gas tank LOL !!!

I have the 'heritage style' bars on mine....purchased them from
a forum member.
Vast improvement over the stock bars....

yep, added the heritage style bars to mine. they are about an inch taller and have an inch more pullback than stock. amazing what a difference that little bit makes (no need to insert pun here )

+3 on the heritage bars. There are quite a few choices, just be sure to pick one that works with the RG. Not all touring bars will.

I kept the stock bars. I must be lucky cause they seem perfect for me. Im 6'03 so my longer arms feel in perfect position.

Great review on the RGC!

I put the Touring Heritage bars on mine and they're a great upgrade. The shifting into neutral will get easier as you roll up the miles.

KW +2 wide sweepers. No cable changes necesary, if you don't mind routing the clutch cable outside the forks.

I think almost everbody does to something else. I went with the Wild 1 'Outlawz' 12" apehangers.....looks great on the RG's.
