Default rattle on my 2011 RKC

I have a 2011 road king classic and i think the rear lights are getting loose, has anyone had this problem and how hard is it to fix? is this sort of thing covered by warranty?

Welcome to the Forums

You are under warranty, but the fix may be easier that a trip to the dealer, the mounting bolts are easily accessible from inside the fender, you should be able to reach up and tighten them.

If your German version bike is the same as the US model, there are 2 bolts passing through the fender from the backside into the signal bar, one on each side of the tail light.

at that time you could apply a threadlocker such as locktite "blue"

if you can get someone to help make sure that the signal bar is level to the bike, not mounted at an angle.

you'll need inch fractional wrenches, not metric.

Mine did that, if you cant get your hand in there, unbolt your shocks, and lift the bike off the tire.

You dont need to unbolt the shocks, I just changed the light bar on mine, its a tight squeeze but if you get it on a jack, it can be done. Mine was lowered 3/4" too, so if yours isn't, should be easy.
