Not sure of the RG vs CVO RG shocks.
But if they are like the Street Glide, there is a big difference.
The stock shocks are the regular air shocks like the other touring bikes use. But the Street Glide are 12", so 1" shorter.
The CVO Street Glide uses the premium touring shock. It is still a 12" shock, but the ride is much better.
They also make a standard length 13" premium touring shock.
I have those on my Street Glide now, and they are a huge improvement over the factory shocks.
But if they are like the Street Glide, there is a big difference.
