If I'm riding alone, I usually run between 30-35 psi. If I am running with my woman, I usually put 50 psi in the shocks. The shocks were designed to allow air to escape when you hit a sharp bump. Thats why you will have to continue to check them on a regular basis.
Been LMFAO for the last five minutes - no disrespect, but this is the best one I've
heard lately. Yep, ya hear it all on this forum.
Who in the hell told you that??????????????????????????????????
The dealer who was too lazy to find and fix the leak. After all, if it was "designed" that way then all you do is keep adding air, no need to fix the silly things.
I see a lot of you are suggesting 40 to 50 psi. Just out of curiosity, has this number changed over the years? I have a 99, and the manual says max pressure on the shocks is 35 psi and 25 on the forks. If riding solo at 200 lbs, pressure should be 2 psi front and back. What gives? Just personal preference?
