I was 40 when I bought my first bagger (RKC), now I'm 46 and love every minute when i ride my Ultra..I still hear some comments now and then from my buddies that I'm to young for a Ultra..But I know and they know what their next bike will be.
At 50 had a Road King Classic, now 60 and ride an Electra Glide Standard. Around 80 I'll move on to a Trike. You are correct 60 is not that old. It's all a state of mind.
My first bike was an old WLA (war relic) when I was 14. Since then there has been numerous EL's and FL's. (Were those considered 'Geezer Glides'?)
Our first 'modern bagger' was a '90 FLHTC...I was 45 then.
Yep, what hair that's left is kinda gray... from the school of hard knocks!!
Don't go as far, as often, as we used to, but still enjoy a trip or two each year.
