I did, go look back and see when I edited my post. I already took out the parenthesis but not before you had already copied it. Apparently at the same time you posted this.

The point of the matter was that helmets, like safety belts when used in the proper manner can, but not always, reduce injuries.

Was it state police, city or county? I'm assuming state, but just wondering as I live on the other side of the state.

Yep no doubt about it...but who has the right to tell me that I have to do things that may or may not reduce injuries to myself?

Having said that, I live in a non-helmet state and usually wear one. My head - my choice.

That is EXACTLY what the **** party (National Socialist Party) did in Germany.

half helmets sure can save he grape from injury but wont protect your jaw and face from getting ground down pretty good.

I do think it was bs for the officer to stop for the sole purpose of seeing if it were dot or not and im not so sure they are allowed to use that as pc for a stop or not

Apparently, so far, some think that they do, and in those states, have convinced law makers that it is in the best interest of us(Joe citizen) that they decide what is best for us cuz we apparently can't think for ourselves.

Interesting!
Lot's of double speak written into it!
Wonder what would have happened had I protested the check?
I'll add again the officer was friendly and professional the whole time and never looked or checked anything else!
Here goes...
Why is this law nessasery when we have the 4th Admendment?

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

This is why We The People must demand that our goverment follow the Constitution of the United States!
