Why not leave? it's simple enough. Or as the **** ad says, "Just do it."
See ya and "bye-bye".
Better work on your 10 million Illegals before asking us to leave..

Bad laws get changed all the time. It starts with people complaining about them. Free speech is one of the fundamental rights that the country was founded on. If that makes you uncomfortable, you might consider taking your own advice.

Oh, I don't know. They don't have anything to whine and complain about. At least not here in Cali. Education, housing, medical, food, clothing, driver's license ..... all free and on our dime. Here they are even working on the right to vote. Which many have, anyway.

No... faapilot is right. Everyone here should just stop their whining, close down this thread and any other thread where we exercise our right of freedom of speech. Any thread where we express ourselves openly against a government, meaning the people in the government, that strives to micro-manage lives and control the masses.

Any complaint against the busy bodies who are like little ol' ladies who have nothing better to do than tell everyone else, attempt to force everyone else really, to be good little boys and girls and fall in line with their percieved concepts of right, wrong, and responsible living. The busy bodies who can only feel any kind of self-worth by managing the lives of others that they percieve to be having more fun that they are. By managing the lives of those who choose to make decisions and take on the consequensives of their decisions.

Yes, let's not have any more of this whining and complaining about those who, in reality, know better than we about how to live our lives and use the authority and power of the govermnent to keep us in step with their wisdom.

No more whining about those who, in reality, know what pain they are saving us from. Those who only want us, our families, and friends to be safe and happy each and every day of our lives.

(This has been an interesting thread. A fun thread.)

Why can't cops fight crime and leave the average citizen along!!! I think most must be to scared to go after thugs and pushers, would rather get out on the highway and bother tax payers where it's safer for them.

Thanks "wheel752!" had to look up the law!
Interesting!
Lot's of double speak written into it!
Wonder what would have happened had I protested the check?
I'll add again the officer was friendly and professional the whole time and never looked or checked anything else!
Here goes...

The Washington State legislature has passed and the governor has signed a bill to prohibit law enforcement from profiling motorcyclists. Training will be added to the ciriculum of the state'sbasic law enforcement acadamies, outlining the anti-profiling policy. The same training will have to be offered for in-service training classes for on the job officers. Here is the wording of the bill.

1 AN ACT Relating to motorcycle profiling; and adding a new section
2 to chapter 43.101 RCW.
3 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:
4 NEW SECTION. Sec. 1. A new section is added to chapter 43.101 RCW
5 to read as follows:
6 (1) The criminal justice training commission shall ensure that
7 issues related to motorcycle profiling are addressed in basic law
8 enforcement training and offered to in-service law enforcement officers
9 in conjunction with existing training regarding profiling.
10 (2) Local law enforcement agencies shall add a statement condemning
11 motorcycle profiling to existing policies regarding profiling.
12 (3) For the purposes of this section, "motorcycle profiling" means
13 the illegal use of the fact that a person rides a motorcycle or wears
14 motorcycle-related paraphernalia as a factor in deciding to stop and
15 question, take enforcement action, arrest, or search a person or
16 vehicle with or without a legal basis under the United States
17 Constitution or Washington state Constitution.

I think I just wasted an hour of my life reading this.

If the law in your state mandates that you wear a helmet, wear one, aside from that,

Who..... the hell..... cares (said in my absolute best peter voice)...

let em pull ya over, look at the sticker and be on your way, is it that damn complicated?

are we really bitching about your rights being violated cause you have to wear a helmet?!?!?!
