Just wondering how you guys would classify the sound you are getting out of your pipes and if you are running the 3.5 or 4 inch versions? Overly loud or just a nice deep rumble
After hearing a few bikes briefly today I am pretty hooked on the sound...just looking for opinions from owners with more experience with them

I HAD 4" rineharts on my '11 LTD with Jamies head pipe.......I took it down the road, took the pipes off and sold them. For me, they were too loud (and rattled, but thats another thread).
I have gone back and forth, and right now have FM 4" on there now. I prefer a muffler with some packing......any stright through muffler with NO packing is too loud for me on a radio bike.

I have the 4" Rineharts with stock pipe and cat removed. I love the sound. I replaced 3.5" Rineharts with the 4" because the size looked better to me. After I changed to the 4" I noticed an increase in the decel popping. With the 3.5" there was almost no decel popping and the sound is almost identical to the 4".

Go to You Tube and search Harley Rinehart 4 inch or something like that. You'll find my clip and others to listen to. I've had mine since they came out and love them. The sound is deep and noticeable under load but quite pleasantly manageable on long highway rides (no droning or wild tones)..
