Default Dyna Beads?

How many of ya'll have changed your own tires and used DynaBeads for balancing? Has everyone been pleased with the performance? I'm needing tires asap, and as winter/lousy weather is upon us pretty quick, I'll have time to tackle it myself and save the money if I can...

Hints?

thanks,
sherwin

Dyna beads are the way to go. PERIOD. No more weights, and you can re-use them. Perfectly balanced tires. I get mine from RockyMountainATV.com $20 for a complete kit. Very easy to install. Run 1oz in the front and 2oz in the rear and your good to go

I always used PJ1 Balance Plus. I have not been able to find it in 2 years though and the people at PJ1 won't answer my emails anymore about when it will be available. I did not know about DynaBeads but am willing to try it. Anything beats weights!

I've been using Dyna Beads and changing my own tires for a few years. I don't notice any balancing problems using the beads.

I'm on my second tire using dyna beads. The first tire was replaced with only 4000 miles or so because I picked up a nail. Have a few thousand on the second with no problems. However, neither tire was very bad out of balance to start with, so I don't really know how good they do at balancing a tire. There are those who claim they don't really balance a tire at all1 My experience is, so far so good.
