New wheels installed... Bike almost 2 inchs higher... How do I lower?

bigger tyre on the front will have the effect of increasing the rake. Should make the bike more stable in a straight line, but less agile in the turns. It will also put a bit more weight over the back wheel.

I am going to a 23" wheel and have the same concerns that you have. Mine will sit about 2-1/2" taller than stock. Let me know what your solution is.
