Default Biketronics or Hawg-Wired radio kit?

Any experience with any of these radio mount kits?
I've noticed (in pictures) that the radio is not flushed with the fairing with the Biketronics kit.
Both kits cost pretty much the same. I'm just wondering which one makes the aftermarket radio look better on the fairing.

I'd go with how well it works over how it looks.

HW... great kits, great fit. I've used them now a few times. No hands on with BT so I can't say.

I am leaning to the BT kit as it has AVC.

I like the HW kit better , mostly metal , nice quality , BT has AVC if you want it , I didn't because with my amp and set up it suggested for best tuning to turn the AVC off

I've got the HW kit with an Alpine head unit. Great fit and works well. I do wish it had AVC though. You don't realize how much volume adjust it does until you come to a stop with the radio at an obnoxious volume.

I have the HW with a Alpine head unit as well. Better quality in my opinion.

If you are asking about installation kits, HW's is more elegant since it uses a metal frame to install the head unit, while BT uses a couple of blocks on the sides of the head unit; and, some folks prefer the face plate/filler panel of the HW to the BT install kit. Functionally, the BT install kit performs flawlessly and you'll never see the neat HW frame once installed. I had the BT install kit and module for 4+ years and never had a problem.

If you're referring to the interface module, both are excellent but the BT has AVC (a very handy feature) and a lifetime warranty.
