Before I start I KNOW I'll have some creative tuning to do. At the very least it'll run a little rich when she's with me, which will help keep the temp down anyway.

Ok, I made some slip ons for it and was satisfied but my wife says that all of my bikes (and her bikes) are loud and the whole reason behind the Electra was for us to enjoy together bla bla bla. Since she bought the bike for me I'm happy giving her what she wants.

Stock Sportster mufflers with a twist.

Okay, if you don't have a patent pending on that, please tell us how you did it.

I made a Y-pipe for each side, welded stock Sportster mufflers right to the ends of them and put electric cutouts on the open Y's. I disassembled them to powdercoat everything and they hide away pretty well blacked out.

Ha ha! Thanks guys. I need to tune it now. It was already a little rich though so I'm comfortable riding it like this for now. The stock head pipes I used have O2 bungs so I was able to measure backpressure. It pulls just a hair over 0.75" of vacuum at 4000 rpm so I'm not far off on the exhaust side.

Thanks again!

That is awesome. The sound open is impressive, not too loud but a nice sound. So when are you going to start selling this system ?

They have been doing this on cars and boats for years.
