You have to complete the extended warranty within two years of purchase. I bought mine with two or three days to spare.

Sounds like everything will turn out fine. My main question is why would you spend 38K on such a Fugly bike?

LOL. I've owned 5 Gold Wings.
I rather ride on a streamline SHARK than a decrepit old BAT.

BTW after this week, I'll have over $41K into my Shark.

Ride safe on that ol' bat.

Just because you dropped $38K on a RG doesnt mean you should be first in-line. There is other bikes in front of you and thats the way it works. So what are they going to tell the other guy " Well we were going to install you new apes but a guy with a CVO came in, and well he is priority because he spent the most money on his bike."

Really? Come on now. Just because you have a CVO doesnt mean you have to be stuck up.

And the dealer should have serviced BOTH guys.

Yeah sorry. I didn't read it all. I was hoping someone else brought this up to this guy.

Just bc you wasted $38k soon to be $41k on a CVO doesn't mean you are king of the dealership. Wait in line just like everyone else.

You're stuck on the cost. The point is that it's only 9 days old with 950 miles. Suppose it broke down leaving the dealership after purchase. How about if it broke down during the TEST RIDE?

Where would you draw the line?

My reason for mentioning cost in the first place was to bring attention that it could happen to any bike regardless of cost. Machines break, no surprises there.

It's been 13 days that the service dept has had my bike. In that time more than 100 bikes have went through ahead of me. Getting ready for Biktoberfest. I declined a loaner for 2 reasons, one having a head cold, the other, they're in demand for Biketoberfest. I HAVE NO PROBLEM LETTING SOMEONE AHEAD OF ME, why would you?

I don't feel like the KING OF THE DEALERSHIP, by owning a CVO. I'll let that title go to the fellow that dropped $100K on a custom bagger recently.

Well if it broke during the test ride than that falls on dealer not you. It's not your bike yet.

It doesn't matter if it 9 days old or 9 years old. No need to bring up the cost of the cvo to support your case.

I didn't read the 20 damn pages. Just your first post about cost and why it isn't fixed yet.

The others in front are probably 8 day old cvos.
