Armstrong walked on the moon? I thought that was all staged in Hollywood. Anyway, ABS is a great option to have, glad it worked well for you.

I'm glad they worked. I know they work on my Road King.

I'm glad you had ABS. Without ABS, when you locked both front and rear, the odds are great that you would have gone down. That's what happened to me 2 years ago. If I had been riding a bike with ABS, I believe that I wouldn't have gotten the chance to find out that I'm allergic to road rash.

Default Took a slide, no ABS :(

Can ABS be added to my 2010 Street Glide? I just laid it down in wet weather because I hit the brakes too hard and they locked up. There was definitely a little surprise, panick, and unplanned reaction involved, but I think ABS would have helped me in this situation. My passenger and I walked away, but with very sore wrists and elbows on one side. The most damage was to my ego, so I guess we were lucky.

Based on past post regarding adding ABS brakes, I don't think you can. Something to do regarding the computer on the bike and wiring issues that would make it impossible or at the very least, not cost effective.

Add me to the believers in ABS, I will not own any motor vehicle without them. They are even putting them on all the high performance street bikes now with the traction control systems.
