My radio has started to sound choppy at lower rpm and at idle.Has anyone else had this happened and if so what seemed to have fixed it for you.It sounds great in the garage but once im out riding i notice the choppy sound start.I do have a hog tunes amp and speakers and the first thing that comes to mind for me is a bad ground.Thanks for any info.

 

Sounds like a ground to me also.
You could call radio sound, and talk to them.

Well i pulled the antennas and cleaned them,pulled the grounds inside the tour pack and cleaned them as well as the one on the right side neck of the frame plus battery terminals and its still there.I think i might by pass the amp and see if it goes away

 

Well i took the hog tunes amp out and went riding the last couple of days.I will say its better but i still can hear some choppy or popping coming through the speakers.The next thing is to swap out the radio.Im already scheduled to get one since it ate my cd and i have the the extended warranty so it only cost me $50
