well...best is subjective....I talked to the darkhouse folks and can't seem to keep them at their entry service price point.....they wanted 700 to true and weld the crank..but that didn't inlcude balancing which brought it up to 900....then they wanted me to spend 300 more for rods..and had me at 1200 plus bucks....and basically when I told them I just wanted the eld and true and to try to keep the price at 700...they lost interest.

on the other hand...there's a guy on ebay who for 800 will true weld the crank....install the T-bearing conversion....and do the lefty bearing conversion. The guy in ebay is pretty close to me, so being able to reach out and see him kind of offsets concerns that he's not as popular as folks like dark horse.

dark horse. if you have an 09 or later bike, I recommend that you do the rods as well (H-beam) to get rid of the crappy wrist pin bushing that harley has on the late style rods. you will also have to send your pistons so they can notch the bottoms of them for the H-beams, a tapered brg on the left side is a good thing, but if you don't do that, at least put in the screamin eagle "lefty" brg that harley sells, its hardened differently (I guess!) I also put the lefty brg on the right side as well

I think a flywheel balance, true and weld is 450.00 H-beam rods are another 250.00. timkin brg and setting end play is around 350.00? talk to them for a better estimate, but I think that was what the last one cost
