Default Stage iv, 27517-08B or 27517-08D

Not sure if I should post this here or in the Tech forum, but figured I start here. I have a 2011 RGU, and on Saturday went to my dealer to talk about some winter upgrades. After much discussion with my tech and parts guy, we decided to go with the new SE stage iv kit, 27517-08D. When I got home, I noticed my receipt had a different part # on it..... 27517-08B. Does anyone know the difference between the b and the d? I did a search here and on google, but could not find much-
Any help would be appreciated-
Thanks

The B version has the 110+ heads with the 260 camset, the D version has the CNC ported factory heads and the 259 camset. The B version is a higher rpm oriented kit, the D kit will be much better suited for a touring bike.

Don't get the older kit with the 260 cams. It only has power above 3,500 rpm. No improvement on power while cruising.
I had that kit.

The new kit "D" has the faster to high torque 259E cam.

The "d" version is much more suitable for most street riding. By pulling back a bit on the heads and cams, the package is actually making better power than the earlier versions. The new stage IV is the first moco kit in a long while I'd actually put on my bike pretty much as is.

Thanks for all the clarification. I am hoping to get some good #'s out of this build. Also changing from monster rounds w/power duals and ventilator a/c to a VH pro pipe and RSD a/c. Any thoughts as to what I should see for #'s?
