SG LED Accent Lighting Suggestions

Ok, here's where I put them. 1 on each side of tank, 1 on each bottom frame rail, 1 on each saddlebag rail, horn, air cleaner, under seat, rear fender under skirt, 1 on each side under front fender, 1 under cripple trees. 240 Leds. Prep with alcohol, use 3m tape under fenders to secure wiring. Wire to auxiliary switch on dash. It shines a full lane both sides of me. "Can you see me now?"

I bought a 180 light kit from Joe Florida on ebay for my Street Bob. I put them on each side of the front wheel and rear wheel. I put strips under each side of the tank, behind the AC and the horn, on each side of the frame rail, and across the front of the frame. There's not much space under the seat of a Street Bob so I had to manipulate the wires somewhat but got it to fit.

I used Custom Dynamics green lights with the breathing/3 strobe/ 4 levels of brightness remote.
Caliper lights on the front wheel, pod under upper frame to light up front valve cover.
A strip in the horn cover, strip under the air cleaner, two long strips under the tank. Two 6 led pods under seat to light up rear cylinder.
Two 24 led strips up inside the edge of the rear fender to light up the rear wheel.
I first installed the rear wheel lights on the bag rails. I hated being able to see the reflection of the lights in the chrome mufflers, plus they did nothing for lighting up the wheel.
I moved them under the fender edge and it really lights up the chrome rear wheel. It matches the brightness of the front wheel lights.
To me led's look much better installed in such a way that it is difficult to see where the light is coming from. jmho
Try to install them at night so you can try different locations for the best effect, before final attachment. It amazing how a couple inches one way or another will dramatically change the effect of the lights.
A little extra time with the install will make a huge difference in the finished look.
I have seen some terrible looking led installs, take your time and you will be much happier with the results.
