Great sound at 75 mph? Easy 8 speakers pointed at you with 600 watts of Hawg wired power. Yes it's expensive. But it sure is fun

I replaced the junk HD stuff and with 6.5's and added another pair of 6.5's to my lower vented fairings. Im powering them with the Rockford Fosgate PBR300.4 amp. I run the Klockwerks short windshield and i can here my tunes clearly at highway speeks.. Couldn't be happier.

With that amp going for under $200 you cant beat it. Pair it up with some good 6.5's.. It's a Easy install you can do in less than a couple of hours and a couple of beers.

Bottom line just upgrading the speakers is not that much of an improvement w/o having to also get a ugly tall windscreen... there is no way around it.

I was thinking of doing the klock werks 8" flare on my bike and having it painted to match the bike. I am 6"2 and long torso. I never have had a wind shield so I guess with my new road glide the wind dont bother me.

Installed the Boom Speakers - very pleased. Simple install.
Also did the Boom hidden antenna - not so happy. Serious degradation in the FM signal.
