Smile No Better Place To Be!

My wife and I had planned to go to Thunder Beach (Panama City FL) this week, but she hurt her back and had to be in physical therapy. Obvious change of plans since I had already scheduled vacation time off. I called my oldest son and he was able to take a few of days of vacation, so we headed off into North Georgia and North Carolina for a nice father and son trip. I’m 61 and he’s 33 and I’ve just got to say we had a ball! Spending time with one of your kids riding Harleys through the mountains just doesn’t get any better! When we got back to his home, he gave me the strongest hug and gracious thanks I’ve ever had. Someone once said that children are gifts from God… I whole heartedly have to agree. Honestly, though I’m not glad my wife hurt her back, I’ve got to say that this trip was one of the best times I’ve had in my life! Just wanted to share.

I'm not sure if I should have a fancy cup of coffee or a old millwalke
but, I am proud for you and your son. I wish my son and I got along that well

Thumbs up Thanks!

He's really "grown up" right before my eyes. I started riding in 1971, but got out of it about 1988 when both kids were growing up. He first started riding in 2006 and after watching him for a week, I got back into it, too. I've never see a "kid" take to a motorcycle so quickly or so well (made him take the Basic Motorcycle Safety Foundation rider's course - then I had to do it to keep face!). He's got a '06 Night Train and a '04 BMW R1150R that I bought and didn't care for - He rides both religiously.

Here's a couple of pics for fun!

Actually, grandchildren are God's gift for not killing your kids.
