Installed the Ness Big Sucker. Chrome Backing Plate. Very pleased with the Appearance. Converted from the stock AC when the FLHX had 6,000 miles on the odometer. Also performed a Mastertune and installed high flow Slip-On's. During the first 6,000 miles with the stock AC, never experienced any oil blow back in the stock air cleaner. Now, after the Big Sucker installation, experiencing significant oil blow back in the filter. Enough to entirely saturate the bottom of the filter within 1,000 miles. Not sure this is normal for high flow filters?

Not to hijack the thread, but installing the air cleaner did you do a HD Stage 1 upload or left it stock?

Kuryakyn Velociraptor. Works even better than the Screamin Eagle set up I had and think looks a lot better.

I have the Ness on one bike and the screaming eagle on another and I have to say that the ness does have an oil blowby problem while the sg does not. Another consideration is that the ness filters are just a tiny bit different in size so that you have to use their filters for a replacement whereas with the SG there are tons of folks that make the K&N size.

Ness Billet Big Sucker works for me. I like the twin S&S, but I don't like how it hides the front cylinder, as does the Screaming Eagle. Look at my Sig Pic. Also, it does not interfere with riding position, and when my feel are on the highway pegs, my leg is OVER the filter. Great arrangement.

Does it stick out further than stock? How much does it cost?
