Default slip ons

I have a 2011 ultra classic was wondering if anybody is running just slip ons with no other mods didn't know if that's something you could do without a tuner or air filter kit thanks

No problem running just slip on's with no other mods. You may want to gut the CAT also, that will help with heat and give you a little more rumble

Your dealer is full of crap. Any slip on will not cause any issues. I don't run any slip on's. After I removed the CAT I got the rumble I was looking for.

No tuner "required" for the exhaust mods, so long as u use STOCK air cleaner. However if u change airflow in and out, the tuner would then be needed to add more fuel to get the AFR back to a richer healthy state.
Order some 09 headpipes as they come without cat installed. Those will mean less heat radiating everywhere and a more comfortable ride.

As long as you dont change the amount of air coming into the engine, ie, stage 1 , big sucker, or other air cleaner, you won't change the air/fuel ratio. So no tuner is needed.

My only comment on the slip on's is try to find something with some sort of baffle. The Speed Shop at my local dealer told you can run with slip ons in 99% of all "stock" bikes and not have an issue. BUT he told me some of these slip ons that have a straight through design will cause these already lean bikes to run even leaner and hotter. One example of the slip ons he was talking about was the V&H High Output Slip Ons. So make sure what you pick as some sort of baffle system in it. Plus with the law cracking down on loud pipes if they shine or put the a$$ end of there flashlight up your pipe and find no baffle you're going to get a ticket.

Ride safe.

I put the Vance & Hines twin slash slip ons part #16763
On my 2011 electra glide limited and changed nothing else and I love it. It give me a nice rumble and looks awesome.
