Has anyone noticed if their mustang seat sits them higher on 2011 street glide or any bike for that matter? Im looking at buying one, but dont want to be sitting any higher than I already am.

Thanks for any advice!!

I bought one for my 06 Road Glide and I'm sure it was setting me up higher and more forward despite the specs saying it would put me back and lower. I took pictures of the stock seat and the Mustang then super imposed one over the other. The Mustang seat is the darker color in the picture. The stock seat is fainter.

My Mustang seat does sit me higher but its something I've accepted given that the comfort is sooo... much better than the OE.
However, when I'm able to afford one, my plan is to change to Mustang's LowDown Touring seat.

It sure did. Exact reason I am junking it and going to C&C. Comfy, but ugly and now the wind hits me right in the nose.

Yes. But nothing you can't adjust to. The cush is worth the height change. My touring seat does sit me back further. Wife loves it way more than stock.

I think it depends on the Mustang seat. My SuperTourer DOES noticeably sit me lower and back a bit. My Mustang Solo seems to sit me a bit higher, but then, that's compared to the SuperTourer. Still like both seats very much.

I was going to try a C&C, but came across the Mustang Solo in the Classifieds at a great price. The Mustang was my second choice for a solo, but I'm very happy with it.

I would just call Mustang and ask. They have a good reputation for customer service. From what I can read on their site they describe the seating position for most seats and there are differences like between the Super Tourer and the Wide tourer. I do not want to move back and it seems to indicate the SUper tourer will move you back, but the wide tourer will not.
