2010 Cdn Street Glide Wiring Diag??
I'm having a little issue with my glide. Was at the dealer and well they did the ol we adjusted a switch and now you have to test it.
Of course it's still nfg. I went in with elec issues which I know are hard to track at times.
Anyways, Neutral light was working intermittently and the 6th gear indicator wasn't working intermittently. When no 6th gear light the cruise wouldn't turn on.
Well the N light is fixed, replaced switch. Problem is the 6th gear light is still intermittent. I'm wondering first off how does the bike know when it's in 6th, Switch location and finally how is that wired in?
Thanks for any help!!!!

There is no 6th gear switch, the computer uses engine RPM and your speed to determine if you are in 6th.
If you have clutch slippage the light will not be on. Also if the clutch switch is not made this will keep the 6th gear light as well as your cruise from working.
Part of the cruise diagnostics can check the clutch switch to see if it's working.
I'll try and find those and add them to this post.
Found it ;-)
The procedure for checking the cruise is in the electrical service manual.
Kill switch in run position
Hold cruise to set position
Turn on ignition
Cruise light on speedometer should be green
Release set on cruise light should be red
If it stays green you have a switch problem or pinched wire
if it is red make the other switches one at a time
all the following should turn the light green
set
resume
front brake
rear brake
clutch
throttle roll forward
