I used the down tube option after Len sent me the clamp due to my errror on the purchase. No picture yet..............but I'm work'n on it.

I'm preparing to install a 140deg snap switch to the air cleaner backing plate...............I have way too much time on my hands.......and the weather sucks here.............and I'm too old to ride in the rain.

I made a custom bracket and moved my horn to the lower left side between the primary cover and the exhaust pipe. You can see the relocation in posts 1 & 29 of this thread - https://www.hdforums.com/forum/touri...cooling-3.html

I had my first LeNale fail after about 20,000 miles. I believe the failure to be vibration related so I mounted the new fan to the frame rather than the engine. The vibes are significantly less now. You can see how I mounted the fan in post 107 of this thread - https://www.hdforums.com/forum/touri...t-data-11.html

I told him what I had, and he gave me the correct kit. My heat shield couldn't be used because I had previously mounted the adjustable backrest release lever under the heat shield. So I used the up tube with a clamp that came in the kit.
