Hey All,

Just adjusted my clutch for first time. Did not change the fluids yet. The guy I got the bike from said it was just done before I got it. Will change all fluids though in near future. Anyway, was looking at fluid level in primary. Manual says do not over fill or can cause rough clutch engagement, and so on. I did not see anywhere if it said anything about a sight reference. From this pic does level look ok? If you can't see, the fluid is just at bottom of the white shoe.

Yup, looks good.

 

The correct level is 2-3/4 from the center of the clutch adjusting shaft. That is the measurement if you put the correct amount of fluid in there. The measurement makes it easy to check quickly.

 

Maybe the previous owner just changed the fluids maybe he didn't. Whenever I buy a bike from someone one of the first things I do is change the fluids that way I know for sure not only that it was done, but what is in there.
