Default New Corbin Seat now need to Lower

Hi All,

I have been reading the forum for almost a year now and have recently bought an 05' Road Glide and couldn't be happier. I put a bit of chrome accents here and there and a week ago I had the pleasure of driving into Corbin and getting a seat custom manufactured. I live in San Jose, CA about 50 miles from Corbin Hollister. I love the seat, the only problem of course is that I now have a tough time planting my feet flat on the ground and am looking to lower the bike 1 to 1 1/2". I have read many many post about different ways of doing this and believe that I have decided to go with the Progressive 440's. My question is do you think I will have a problem bottoming out if I go with the 11.5" versions? I am a hefty 225 and the wife is pushing 200. Haven't really had a problem with the stock air shocks just looking for some advice. Other then go on a diet!

I have run 12" Progressive 440's & a guy I know has the 11.5's. They sit almost exactly the same height & the 12" give a MUCH smoother ride.

If you ask the Progressive techs, they always recommend the 12" over the 11.5's.
