This stuff is a true two part epoxy clear in a can. You shake the can for two minutes. Then you "pop" a valve on the bottom of the can that releases the hardener. Then shake for another two minutes. Sticks like glue (cause it is) and dries hard and glossy.

Washed them twice so far....covered with bug guts today, washed them right off, and they still looked the same. As long as you go over them with some polish and a rag once in awhile, they will stay that way.
Really depends on the person. Being career mailitary, I have polished more than my share of shoes, belt buckles, etc., over the years, so for me personally, its too easy.
