I just assumed. I don't know. That's a good question.

People still do that?????????????????
Yes, people still ride with only liability or around here no insurance at all. Insurance in my area is double because so many ride without insurance or will run away from an accident. I pay $600 for bike insurance. If I moved to a different area I would pay $300.

I agree. Not to metion rude and lacking a few brain cells.

They are in a world all of their oun[sm=lame.gif]
Markcuda,
Truly in their own world! Someday they will hear a loud pop, and that sound will come from them pulling their heads out of their asses for the first time. Fortunately, I heard that loud pop many years ago, and I must say I can see and breathe so much better now.

I rode a metric before my Harley, i cant tell you how much of a difference there is. And one other thing on those metrics you get taken to the cleaners on trade in!! I lost over half my value when i traded mine in. It was only 1 1/2 years old and only 4000 miles on it. The ride on the Ultra and Electra cant be beat. Its all in what you are looking for. If you can take one out on a test spin.

Comparing Harleys to metric cruisers is like comparing true art to fakes. Harleys come with a rich heritage of Americana (including war time) and yes they are flawed like every other piece of art . Metric cruisers are copies of Harley – that’s all! They exist only as a rendition of a true work of American art. They may be good machines or not – it doesn’t change the fact, they are mere copies of a truly beloved American machine. For this reason alone, I refuse to give the metric cruisers the right to be compared to Harleys. They can be compared to other knock-offs, but not to the original. Harleys have that intangible yet real pride of ownership factor that will always be missing in all metric cruisers.
