That's what Bean said also...........if you use the stock gaskets, just don't over tighten them and they won't squish out and block the exhaust ports.

Sorry I missed out on this one. The SE gaskets SUCK! I chased a decel pop on my old road glide for what seemed like months before finally just removing the exhaust and locating the problem. Like you, both heads were leaking at the gasket. Lesson learned.

When I removed the SE gaskets, they weren't even compressed at all. They still look like brand new, so back into the junk drawer they went.

I can't wait to try out the new exhaust tomorrow..............should be able to feel a difference.

You about got your break in miles done yet? I'm callin' foul on the 2 into 1! Thats an unfair advantage! I am anxious to see your numbers.....probably not as much as you......

So my question is, why did the Moco even design a SE gasket? Why have two different gaskets? What's the purpose?

Break-in..............what's that

I went by Bean's recommendation on setting the rings................3rd gear 30 mph, go full throttle to 60 mph, let off and coast back to 30 mph..........do that about 10 times and the rings are seated then ride the bike as you normally would.

If I get to your numbers with a 26G build............I will do a backflip and maybe even a cartwheel.
